CLF Publishes MEP & TI LCA Study

The Carbon Leadership Forum recently published a study on the LCA impacts of MEP and TI.  This is the first study of its kind to explore environmental impacts of MEP and TI.

This study was part of a broader Low Carbon Construction project funded by The Charles Pankow Foundation, Skanska USA and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) in 2016. This study followed the CLF’s Embodied Carbon Benchmark Study, which identified a need in the industry for standardized and accessible guidance on how to conduct an LCA of a building, and the LCA Practice Guide, which is an introductory step-by-step guide to performing building LCAs.
